Registering your company with Billsby is a simple step-by-step process, in which we collect your basic information and also some additional stuff that helps us to tailor our service to you.
We start by collecting your basic information. We ask for your work email because it helps speed up the setup process for you but don't worry if you don't have one, you can use a personal email and if you need to, you can always change it later.
You'll also need to choose a company country and billing currency. This would typically be the country you operate in or are based in. Company country can be changed at any time but once your currency is set, it cannot be changed. This is the currency we'll use to charge you and also how we'll display your reporting but you'll still be able to charge your customers in any currency you want by choosing it when you're setting up your products.
While we set up your account we collect some information about your business, including the stage your business is in and how many customers you forecast, whether you're looking to migrate existing customers and what billing solution you currently use, if any. If you don't know the answers or would rather not say, that's not a problem. These questions are not mandatory but they'll help us to get a picture of where you're at, so that we can best tailor our service to suit your needs.
Once you've completed these steps, you'll be able to start playing around with the control panel to get to grips with how the platform works.
