What CMS features are most important for subscription businesses?

We’re currently exploring different CMS options for a subscription-based business, and one thing I’ve noticed is that not every CMS handles recurring billing businesses smoothly.

Some platforms are great for content management but struggle with things like member access, subscription workflows, customer portals, or performance optimization.
