My uncle recently had a diagnostic procedure, and he mentioned that doctors were using some kind of software to map things out before even starting. It sounded very different from how things were done years ago. It got me wondering—what kind of medical innovations have actually come from advances in computer technology? Is it mostly about imaging, or are there other areas where computers have really changed things?
