Every now and then, you discover a game that feels almost too simple to be addictive… until you realize you’ve been playing it for 20 minutes straight.

That was my exact experience with doodle baseball.

At first, I clicked out of curiosity. A hot dog with a baseball bat? A waffle throwing pitches? It looked more like a playful cartoon than a sports game. But within a few rounds, I found myself leaning forward, trying to perfectly time every swing like it was the final inning of a championship match.

For such a small browser game, it leaves a surprisingly big impression.
